The Promenade Shops at Centerra invited Integrated Visions Productions to create two site-specific videomapped shows to be projected on the shopping center’s north facing wall. Our team developed two unique programs, the first of which highlighted the natural wonder of Colorado, with the second exploring abstract imagery and MC Escher-style ‘impossible structures.’ This was the first large scale public videomapping project in the northern Colorado area.
For this project, IVP tiled together two 35,000 lumens Christie Roadster HD projectors to cover a 120′ x 60′ projection surface. The Promenade Shops management estimated that 5,000 people viewed the event in person over the two night run, despite temperatures in the low 20′s.
